Secure Wireless Enterprise Networking

The Enterprise Access Server provides organisations with full, centralised control over their wireless network infrastructure. The device greatly simplifies the integration of wireless and wired networks by providing a highly secure and manageable interface between the two environments. The Access Server sits at the centre of the wireless network and from there administers wireless security policy to authorised access points and clients. In addition the device provides real time firewall protection, RADIUS server authentication and also administers digital certificates and data encryption policy to approved clients to protect against unauthorised wireless access to wired network resources. The Access Server is quick to install and easy to manage whilst also offering interoperability between, and a single point for management of wireless devices from non-Madge vendors. In keeping with the Madge philosophy of interoperability and investment protection, the Access Server provides direct wired connectivity into a 4/16/100 Mbps Token Ring, or into 10/100 Mbps Ethernet environments.
